Thanks to its mechanical filtration, the synthetic sponge effectively captures waste and particles dispersed in the water. Biological filtration is provided by ceramic rings, which promote the growth of beneficial bacterial flora, essential for the biological balance of the aquarium. Finally, chemical filtration with activated carbon removes aromatic compounds and colourants, further improving water quality.
The Pico Pro not only purifies the water, but also promotes high oxygenation thanks to the included Spray Bar and Venturi Kit, creating an optimal environment for fish and aquatic plants. The swivelling nozzle and adjustable flow rate allow the water flow to be adapted to the different needs of the aquarium, providing maximum flexibility.
